Job summary

Twenty Five South Realty in Khalapur, Maharashtra, is seeking a Safety Manager for our luxury project. You will enforce EHS policies, monitor compliance, identify risks, and raise safety standards across all construction activities.

Responsibilities include developing site safety plans, toolbox talks, auditing sites, managing permits and PPE, and coordinating with project heads and contractors to drive zero-accident culture.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement site-specific safety plans, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with applicable EHS, labour, construction, and statutory safety requirements.
• Conduct regular site safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Identify hazards and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor safety practices for civil, structural, MEP, excavation, scaffolding, lifting, height work, and other construction activities.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to safe work practices by employees, contractors, and workers.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, training, and awareness programs.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions and prepare reports with corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Project Heads, Site Engineers, contractors, and consultants on safety-related matters.
• Ensure proper implementation of work permits, LOTO, work-at-height, hot work, excavation, lifting, and confined-space safety procedures.
• Monitor housekeeping, emergency preparedness, fire safety, and first-aid arrangements at project sites.
• Maintain safety documentation, inspection reports, incident records, training records, and statutory registers.
• Conduct emergency drills and ensure site emergency response plans are updated.
• Monitor safety performance of contractors and ensure compliance with project safety standards.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly EHS MIS reports and present safety performance to management.
• Drive a strong safety culture and zero-accident mindset across the organization.
