Qualifications

Position Summary

The Safety Officer will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and enforcing Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) requirements during execution of brownfield pharmaceutical projects. The role ensures that construction, modification, installation, commissioning, and qualification activities are executed safely without impacting ongoing plant operations, GMP compliance, and regulatory standards.

Brownfield sites present high-risk interfaces with live manufacturing, therefore strong coordination, permit control, and contractor safety management are critical.

Qualification & Experience

Education

• Diploma / Degree in Engineering or Science
• Diploma / Certification in Industrial Safety (mandatory)

Experience

• Pharma / Chemical / API plant experience preferred
