Job summary

Marutee Design And Engineering Private Limited is seeking a CAD Engineer with hands-on experience in starter motor design and development. You will develop 3D models and detailed 2D drawings using Siemens NX / Unigraphics NX, and create engineering documentation for automotive components.

The candidate should have a Mechanical Engineering degree and 3+ years of CAD experience, with proficiency in GD&T, BOM management, and PLM Windchill.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in CAD design and detailing.
• Experience in Automotive Starter Motors, Alternators or Electromechanical products preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Siemens NX / Unigraphics NX.
• Knowledge of PLM Windchill and CATIA.
• Good understanding of GD&T, engineering drawings and tolerance stack-up.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D models and detailed 2D drawings using Siemens NX / Unigraphics NX.
• Prepare manufacturing drawings with GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis.
• Create and maintain BOMs and engineering documentation.
• Work on starter motor components such as Armature, Housing, Yoke, Brush Holder, Planetary Gear Assemblies and Solenoid Parts.
• Support prototype development, validation builds and drawing modifications based on test feedback.
• Follow engineering change management and product development processes.
