Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies and best practices for the fulfillment function.
- Assist with logistics and fulfillment strategy to improve key performance metrics.
- Chart strategic roadmaps backed by comprehensive assessments and business value cases.
- Drive quantitative and qualitative process assessments to identify performance gaps.
- Support client in organization structure, governance, process reengineering, and solution strategy.
- Design, architect, and manage strategy‑led transformation projects.
- Deliver expertise for implementation and continuous improvement of logistics strategy, organization, network, processes, operations, and technology.
- Guide the team during build and test phases.
- Demonstrate understanding of processes and best practices to improve outcomes.
- Oversee operations including transportation planning, route planning, warehouse layout design, equipment & automation, 3PL evaluation, and logistics training.
- Draft proposals, set objectives, and create action plans for prospective clients.
- Establish and grow strategic business solutions alliances.
- Contribute to sales enablement through bid management, proposal authoring, estimations, and client pitches.
- Work on primary logistics projects such as strategic transportation sourcing, truck loading efficiency, truck‑mix analysis, secondary logistics, distribution, warehousing, ocean and air freight, and network optimization.
- Exposure to tools: Llamasoft Supply Chain Guru, iLOG, SCS, SAP (TM, eWM, LE), Blue Yonder (TMS, Luminate, WMS), Oracle (TM).
- Experience with P&L or sales responsibility is a plus.
Qualifications
- Professional technical skills and exposure to the tools listed above.
- Minimum 2-9 years experience in logistics and supply chain strategy.
- MBA from a Tier‑1 business school.
