Job summary

Global Business Ser. 4u Inc. is seeking an experienced SAP S/4 HANA Release Manager to oversee the end-to-end release management process for our global S/4 HANA rollout.

The start date is August 2025 with an expected completion in May 2026 and possible extensions. The role is offshore with IST night-time hours. • We have experience as SAP S/4 HANA Release Manager.
• Experience in environment management incl. system refreshes, data management, deployment coordination.
• Understanding of SAP architecture including S/4 HANA and related SAP solutions.
• Experience with release management platforms.
• Strong project management knowledge and practices.
• Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources.

Responsibilities

• Develop, own, and maintain the release calendar across projects and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and leads to identify conflicts and scheduling challenges.
• Facilitate regular release planning meetings to sync timelines and dependencies.
• Coordinate with operations and maintenance changes on releases.

We are seeking an experienced SAP release manager to manage the end to end release management process for our client s global S/4 HANA rollout. April 2025 with additional go-lives.

Tasks include

• Develop, own, and maintain the release calendar, ensuring alignment with project plans, business cycles, and operational needs, across various project, business, and IT stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers and workstream leads to identify release conflicts, risks, and scheduling challenges and to ensure cohesive delivery.
• Facilitate regular release planning meetings with stakeholders to synchronize timelines and manage dependencies.
• Coordination with other release planning and dependencies such as operations and technical / maintenance changes.
• Ensure release processes, workflows, approval checkpoints, and reporting are accurately implemented and maintained within the platform.
• Drive the creation and delivery of release management reporting, dashboards, and performance insights for leadership, project teams, and other stakeholders.
• Communicate release performance trends, risks, and improvement opportunities based on KPI data to leadership and stakeholder groups.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as an SAP S/4 HANA Release Manager.
• In depth experience in environment management, including system refreshes, data management, and deployment coordination.
• An understanding of SAP technical architecture and landscapes, including S/4 HANA and other SAP solutions.
• Experience in supporting or administrating release management platforms.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and practices.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in managing budgets, timelines, and resource planning.
