New Delhi, March 2, 2026:Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has issued a vacancy notification (No. 2026/RVNL/14-CIVIL) inviting applications for the post of Chief Project Manager (Civil) on a deputation basis.

The position is based in Patna and is open to eligible officers from the Civil Engineering Department, including those belonging to the Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE).

Location: Patna

Mode of Appointment: Deputation

Duration: Five years (subject to Government approval for exemption from the rule of immediate absorption)

Age Limit: Below 58 years (as on closing date)

Eligibility Criteria

Eligible officers must be holding substantively:

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in construction organizations.

The cut-off date for age and eligibility will be reckoned as on the closing date of the vacancy notice.

The closing date for submission is 30 days from the date of issue (March 2, 2026).
