Job summary

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of software experience with 3+ years in a senior/lead role.

• Experience with endpoint security, encryption, TLS/mTLS, and threat modelling.
• Experience across macOS, Windows, Linux and OS internals.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, automated testing, and release engineering.
• On-device AI/ML experience; ONNX a bonus.
• Leadership in system architecture and mentoring.
• Nice to have DLP/EDR products and startup exposure.

Responsibilities

Role Description

This is a remote, contract role for a Rust Developer. The Rust Developer will design, implement, test, and maintain backend services and system-level components using Rust, working closely with product and engineering teams. Daily tasks include writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code, reviewing peer code, and optimizing performance and reliability. The role involves integrating APIs, collaborating on architectural decisions, and participating in debugging, troubleshooting, and incident resolution. The Rust Developer will also contribute to build and deployment pipelines, follow secure coding practices, and support continuous improvement of development processes.
