Jacobs in Bengaluru, India is seeking a Run Team Lead to maintain live services, ensuring uptime, security and value delivery. This hands-on role bridges engineering, platform teams and end users, coordinating support, improvements and releases for stable platforms.

The ideal candidate has a Computer Science/Engineering background and experience in platform operations, DevOps, and cloud technologies such as Azure and Kubernetes. Strong communication and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in platform, operations, or service management roles.
• Familiarity with Databricks or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of software development, deployment, and testing practices.
• Understanding of service management principles (SLAs, uptime, incident management).
• Experience with monitoring and operational tooling.
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD, and version control.
• Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong communication skills.

Your impact

As the Run Team Lead, you will play a key role in maintaining the live service environment, ensuring platforms are reliable, secure, and delivering value to users.
