Job summary

Vodafone’s ARC RTR Northern Hub in Pune seeks a finance professional to own end-to-end Opex management and financial reporting. You will ensure accuracy, comply with IFRS and SOX controls, and drive process improvements in a global finance setting.

Key responsibilities include monthly Opex performance analysis, balance sheet reconciliations and stakeholder engagement to meet service levels and reporting timelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage, review, analyse and report monthly Opex performance for key stakeholders within reporting deadlines.
• Own the end-to-end Opex process for the assigned area of responsibility.
• Perform accounting and reporting activities in line with stakeholder requirements, Vodafone accounting policies and IFRS standards.
• Deliver applicable SLA and KPI commitments consistently and accurately.
• Ensure full compliance with SOX guidelines and maintain a zero-tolerance approach to control failures.
• Support Month End Close (MEC), Half Year Close (HYC) and Year End Close (YEC) deliverables.
• Perform and maintain balance sheet reconciliations.
• Engage effectively with stakeholders to support reporting requirements and issue resolution.
• Drive process simplification, operational efficiency and automation initiatives.
• Enhance functional knowledge and contribute to continuous improvement activities.

About this Role

We are seeking a finance professional to join the ARC RTR Northern Hub in Pune, supporting end-to-end operating expenditure (Opex) management and financial reporting activities. This role is responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, ensuring compliance with Vodafone accounting policies, IFRS standards and SOX controls, whilst meeting agreed service levels and stakeholder expectations. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to process simplification, automation initiatives and continuous improvement within a global finance environment.

Who you are

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with 1-3 years of relevant experience; orCA Inter, MBA or B.Com qualification with relevant domain knowledge and professional experience; orCost and Management Accountant (CMA).
• Sound accounting and financial reporting knowledge.
• Good understanding of Record to Report (RTR) processes.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle and SAP systems.
• Understanding of Vodafone accounting policies and IFRS standards.
• Knowledge of SOX controls and compliance requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
