Job summary

Signify in India is seeking a Record to Report Accounting Associate H12 to ensure accurate accounting within monthly close and provide reconciled balance sheet data.

The role collaborates with the R2R team, handles SAP tasks, and applies Excel skills. Requires 4+ years of experience and ERP exposure; VBA/SQL knowledge is advantageous.

Qualifications

• B Com or MBA Finance or CA (Inter) required.
• Understanding of accounting rules.
• Minimum 4 years of experience.
• ERP exposure preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Problem solving attitude and teamwork.
• VBA/SQL knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform activity using Standard Work Instructions and post Journal Vouchers in correct company code, cost Centre/profit Centre where applicable using tool in place, timely and accurately during Month End Close.
• Perform validation checks in SAP to ensure an accurate load of results.
• Run tasks related to other SAP-t codes as applicable to perform other accounting tasks.
• Prepare Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations (BSARs) according to calendar and share with relevant teams.
• Provide accurate & timely data for fiscal reporting and other requirements.
• Play a leading role in problem solving within expected time frames
• Able to handle volumes of data and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables, data manipulation, and formulae.
• Knowledge of AI tools, VBA/SQL would be preferred.

Record to Report Accounting Associate H12

Main purpose of the role

Contributes to ensuring accurate accounting and reporting and reconciled Balance Sheet account reconciliation within corporate timelines for the company. As a member of the R2R team the role will perform accounting activities and resolve queries of stakeholders, auditors and play a leading role in problem solving. Practical knowledge of common AI/VBA would be an added advantage.

Job holder will be part of R2R and report to Team Lead in the Global Operations Hub

Key Areas of Accountability
