Job summary

SLB in India seeks an RTDOC Analyst to oversee real-time wellsite operations, monitor data feed quality, and promptly address anomalies to maintain safety and efficiency in drilling and workover activities.

You will coordinate with onshore teams, service providers, and clients, learn reporting applications, and ensure accurate data capture, storage, and timely reporting across sites in Duliajan, Mumbai, and Dehradun.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ upstream drilling operation experience in oil and gas.
• At least 1 year experience providing real-time data services for drilling.
• Ability to communicate in English and Hindi.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily reporting of wellsite operations and be accountable for timely data capture and reporting including configuration, loading, QC, monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Ensure seamless data is captured with reporting applications including monitoring of mandatory reports, data sources, report formats including units, identifiers, meanings, normal value ranges to identify and fix data issues proactively.
• Learn the reporting application, system installation and configuration, troubleshooting process and keep track of issues and resolution.
• Understand the role of different stakeholders and coordinate project data collection across service companies, client organization, real time data providers.
• Provide support to the on-site team, collaborate with the project team, client organization and remote operations support to ensure smooth and reliable function of application software and systems, including system upgrades, troubleshooting and maintenance activities.
• Monitor service quality, understand and utilize the Incident Escalation Procedures and pre-emptively inform supervisors when potential issues arise.
• Understand and Implement the Data Confidentiality Standards and IT Security Policies across all activities related to data capture, storage, transfer and archival.
• Maintain HSE Scorecards and actively contribute to HSE Safety Programs.

Position: Real Time Drilling Ops Centre Analyst (RTDOC Analyst)

Job Summary:

As an RTDOC Analyst, should demonstrate adaptability and proficiency in handling various real-time visualization and monitoring platforms. The core responsibilities include actively overseeing ongoing drilling operations, leveraging real-time data to identify and address any operational anomalies promptly. This not only helps in maintaining the safety and efficiency of the drilling process but also minimizes potential risks and downtime.

Effective monitoring involves continuous analysis of key performance indicators, timely escalation of detected issues, and clear communication with relevant stakeholders to implement corrective actions and you will provide technical expertise and support to deliver exceptional services for data capture, management, and reporting throughout the entire lifecycle for welsite drilling & workover operations. You will receive training that expands your technical knowledge and hands-on skillset.

Reporting to Project Manager or Team Lead
