Job summary

SLB is seeking an RTDOC Analyst to actively oversee real-time drilling operations, using live data to identify anomalies and coordinate corrective actions on wellsite projects in India. The role involves data capture, management and reporting across assets, with training to expand technical knowledge and hands-on skills.

You will collaborate with the on-site team and remote operations support to ensure reliable software performance, data confidentiality, and adherence to IT security policies,

Qualifications

• Diploma or Graduation in engineering or equivalent; relevant upsteam drilling experience preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in upstream Drilling operations; at least 1 year providing real-time data services for drilling.
• English and Hindi language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily reporting of wellsite operations and ensure timely data capture and reporting (configuration, loading, QC, monitoring, troubleshooting).
• Ensure seamless data capture with reporting applications and monitor data sources, report formats, units, identifiers, and normal value ranges to fix data issues proactively.
• Learn reporting applications, system installation and configuration, troubleshooting, and track issues and resolutions.

Job description

Position: Real Time Drilling Ops Centre Analyst (RTDOC Analyst)

As an RTDOC Analyst, should demonstrate adaptability and proficiency in handling various real-time visualization and monitoring platforms. The core responsibilities include actively overseeing ongoing drilling operations, leveraging real-time data to identify and address any operational anomalies promptly. This not only helps in maintaining the safety and efficiency of the drilling process but also minimizes potential risks and downtime. Effective monitoring involves continuous analysis of key performance indicators, timely escalation of detected issues, and clear communication with relevant stakeholders to implement corrective actions and you will provide technical expertise and support to deliver exceptional services for data capture, management, and reporting throughout the entire lifecycle for wellsite drilling & workover operations. You will receive training that expands your technical knowledge and hands-on skillset.

Reporting to Project Manager or Team Lead

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily reporting of wellsite operations and be accountable for overall performance of timely data capture and reporting including configuration, loading, QC, monitoring and troubleshooting of operational activity for the asset / location
• Ensure seamless data is captured with reporting applications including monitoring of mandatory reports, data sources, report formats including units, identifiers, meanings, normal value ranges to identify and fix data issues proactively.
• Learn the reporting application, system installation and configuration, troubleshooting process and keep track of issues and resolution
• Understand the role of different stakeholders and coordinate project data collection across service companies, client organization, real time data providers
• Provide support to the on-site team, collaborate with the project team, client organization and remote operations support to ensure smooth and reliable function of application software and systems, including system upgrades, troubleshooting and maintenance activities
• Monitor service quality, understand and utilize the Incident Escalation Procedures and pre-emptively inform supervisors when potential issues arise
• Understand and Implement the Data Confidentiality Standards and IT Security Policies across all activities related to data capture, storage, transfer and archival
• Maintain HSE Scorecards and actively contribute to HSE Safety Programs
