Job summary

Zorba AI is seeking an experienced RPA Specialist – Blue Prism with 5+ years of hands-on experience to design, develop, deploy, and maintain automation solutions. The role focuses on Blue Prism architecture, process automation, exception handling and enterprise integration.

You will build reusable objects, queues and schedules, while ensuring robust logging, error handling and secure production deployments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on RPA development experience with Blue Prism.
• Strong knowledge of Blue Prism architecture, components and controls.
• Experience with process automation, exception handling and production support.

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced RPA Specialist – Blue Prism with 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Blue Prism architecture, process automation, exception handling, application integration, debugging, and production support, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and reliable automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• RPA Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy automation solutions using Blue Prism, following established development standards and best practices.
• Process Assessment: Analyze business processes, identify automation opportunities, and evaluate feasibility, complexity, and expected business benefits.
• Solution Design: Prepare Process Definition Documents (PDDs), Solution Design Documents (SDDs), process maps, and technical specifications.
• Blue Prism Development: Build and maintain reusable Business Objects, Process Objects, Work Queues, Credentials, Schedules, and Control Room configurations.
• Exception Handling: Implement robust exception-handling frameworks, logging, recovery mechanisms, and retry strategies to ensure reliable bot execution.
• Application Integration: Integrate Blue Prism with enterprise applications, databases, APIs, web applications, Excel, email, and file systems.
• Testing and Deployment: Perform unit testing, support system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT), and manage production deployments.
• Production Support: Monitor bot performance, troubleshoot failures, conduct root-cause analysis, and resolve production incidents within agreed SLAs.
• Automation Optimization: Enhance existing automations to improve execution performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, process owners, IT and infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders.
• Governance and Documentation: Follow security standards, access controls, coding conventions, version control, release management, and RPA governance guidelines.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to expand automation coverage, standardize business processes, and improve operational efficiency.

Required Technical Skills

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on RPA development experience, with strong practical expertise in Blue Prism.
• Strong knowledge of Blue Prism architecture, Process Studio, Object Studio, Application Modeller, Control Room, and Work Queues.
• Experience developing reusable Business Objects, Process Objects, exception-handling frameworks, and resilient automation workflows.
• Proficiency in UI automation, surface automation, and integration with Windows-based, web-based, and enterprise applications.
• Hands-on experience with Excel automation, VBA, SQL, databases, email automation, and file handling.
• Understanding of APIs, web services, JSON/XML, and application integration techniques.
• Experience with bot scheduling, credential management, environment configuration, release management, and production monitoring.
• Strong debugging, analytical, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, testing practices, and technical documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Blue Prism certification, preferably Blue Prism Developer or equivalent.
• Experience in enterprise-scale RPA implementations and Center of Excellence (CoE) environments.
• Exposure to automation governance, reusable component development, and RPA operating models.
• Experience with version control, CI/CD practices, and deployment automation.
• Exposure to OCR, document processing, and AI-based intelligent automation technologies.
• Experience automating business processes in Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Operations, HR, or other enterprise functions.
