Job description

We are looking for an experienced RPA Specialist with 5+ years of hands-on experience in

designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining Robotic Process Automation (RPA)

solutions using Blue Prism. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in process

automation, solution architecture, exception handling, debugging, and production support,

with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and reliable

automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• RPA Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy automation solutions using Blue Prism, following established development standards and best practices.
• Process Assessment: Analyze business processes, identify automation opportunities, and assess feasibility, complexity, and potential benefits.
• Solution Design: Develop Process Definition Documents (PDDs), Solution Design Documents (SDDs), process maps, and technical specifications.
• Blue Prism Expertise: Build and maintain reusable Business Objects, Process Objects, Work Queues, Credentials, Schedules, and Control Room configurations, mechanisms, and retry strategies to ensure reliable bot execution.
• Integration: Integrate Blue Prism with enterprise applications, databases, APIs, web applications, Excel, email, and other business systems.
• Testing & Deployment: Perform unit testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing support, and production deployment.
• cause analysis, and resolve production incidents within agreed SLAs.
• Optimization: Enhance existing automations to improve efficiency, scalability, maintainability, and execution performance.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with business analysts, process owners, IT teams, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders.
• Governance & Documentation: Ensure compliance with security standards, access controls, coding conventions, version control, and RPA governance guidelines.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to expand automation coverage and improve business outcomes through process standardization and automation.

Required Technical Skills

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in RPA development, with strong practical expertise in Blue Prism.
• Strong knowledge of Blue Prism architecture, Process Studio, Object Studio, Application Modeller, Control Room, and Work Queues.
• Experience developing reusable business objects, exception-handling frameworks, and resilient automation workflows.
• Proficiency in application integration, surface automation, UI automation, and working with Windows, web-based, and enterprise applications.
• Experience with Excel automation, VBA, SQL, databases, email automation, and file Understanding of APIs, web services, JSON/XML, and application integration.
• Experience with bot scheduling, credential management, environment configuration, release management, and production monitoring.
• Strong debugging, analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Understanding of SDLC, Agile delivery, testing methodologies, and technical documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Blue Prism certification, preferably Blue Prism Developer or equivalent.
• Experience in enterprise-scale RPA implementations and Center of Excellence (CoE).
• Exposure to automation governance, reusable component development, and RPA.
• Experience with version control, CI/CD practices, and deployment automation.
• Exposure to complementary automation or intelligent automation technologies such as OCR, document processing, and AI-based automation.
• Experience in Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Operations, HR, or other enterprise business processes.
• Strong ownership of end-to-end automation delivery.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple automation initiatives.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to automation quality.
