Job summary

Wipro in Chennai is seeking a Network Administrator with 6+ years of experience to manage enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure, SD-WAN, and VPN technologies. You will configure Cisco routers, switches, and Nexus devices, and support Cisco/Aruba wireless controllers.

Strong documentation and client-facing reporting are required. Responsibilities include implementing DMVPN, MPLS/IPsec, BGP/EIGRP/OSPF, and maintaining firmware across Cisco/DELL gear, with regular remediation and RCA reporting to

Qualifications

• Knowledge on Cisco Routers, layer 3 and layer 2 Switches configuration and administration.
• Experience in routing and switching and WAN Optimization/SD-WAN.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS/Nexus and DELL networking devices.
• Experience with VPN technologies including Cisco AnyConnect.
• Proficient in monitoring tools such as SolarWinds and LogicMonitor.

Responsibilities

• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco routers, layer 3/2 switches, and Nexus devices.
• Plan and deploy LAN/WAN/SD-WAN infrastructure across projects.
• Manage DMVPN, MPLS/IPsec, and routing protocols BGP/EIGRP/OSPF.
• Maintain and upgrade firmware on Cisco/DELL networking equipment.
• Operate NAC using Aruba ClearPass; support wireless controllers (Cisco/Aruba).
• Monitor networks with SolarWinds/LogicMonitor; manage incidents in SNOW.
• Produce remediation reports and document root-cause analyses for incidents.
• Coordinate changes through change tickets; report to clients and management.

Network Admin Key responsibilities :

• Knowledge on Cisco Routers, layer 3 and layer 2 Switches configuration and administration
• Experience in routing and switching
• Knowledge and experience of WAN Optimization and SD-WAN Products Silver peak, riverbed
• Project infrastructure deployment involving in LAN, WAN and SD WAN Technologies
• Knowledge on Cisco IOS and Nexus devices
• Knowledge on DELL networking products
• Hands on experience in configuring and troubleshooting wireless controllers Cisco and Aruba products
• Configuring and troubleshooting CISCO 5500, 9800 MODEL WLCs with CISCO 3800 and 9300 model access points
• Working Knowledge on CISCO ISE
• Work experience with Aruba clear pass for NAC troubleshooting
• Knowledge on routing protocols BGP, EIGRP, OSPF
• Knowledge on STP, RSTP, NHRP, HSRP protocols

• Documenting network issues related Incidents with in-depth event logs, RCA and evidence
• IOS / firmware upgrade in Cisco, DELL network devices as and when required
• Knowledge on monitoring tools like solar winds, Logic monitor
• Experience in SNOW ticketing tool
• Provide weekly / monthly report on network related incidents, project activities to client and management
• Update SMTD document as and when there is a change / update in network environment
• Troubleshooting of Incidents and Service tickets on network related issues
• Implementing network related changes through Change tickets
• Involving in daily / weekly / monthly Operations meeting with the management
• Experience in handling clients from multiple countries
