Job summary

BionicHIVE is seeking an experienced robotics software engineer to contribute across the full development cycle for our robot platforms. You will work on algorithms, sensors and control to advance robot capabilities in real environments.

You will participate in research, prototyping and integration in a Linux-based workflow, with opportunities to explore SLAM, 3D sensing and deep learning methods in a collaborative R&D setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in C++ software development
• Experience with ROS (ROS2 a plus)
• Capacity to research, test and integrate complex technologies/algorithms
• Experience with development in a Linux environment
• Experience in computer vision algorithms, Python-based prototyping
• Advantage: SLAM-based navigation
• Advantage: 3D sensors
• Advantage: implementation of deep-learning algorithms in robotics

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development of the company robots
