Job summary

E Tech Group is seeking a Rockwell Engineer in India to perform all aspects of process automation engineering and system integration, from concept to startup and training. You will lead design, configuration, testing, and startup of control systems for diverse client facilities.

The role requires 5+ years PLC experience, a BS Engineering, and strong aptitude for learning new technologies, with potential travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years PLC experience in industry (GMP experience a plus).
• BS Engineering degree required.
• Detail oriented with strong technical aptitude and desire for learning new technologies.
• Knowledge of ISA S88 Batch, ISA S95 Controls System Architecture, GAMP 5 & cGMP, 21 CFR Part 11.

Responsibilities

• Lead or work on a project team responsible for design, configuration, and testing of continuous and batch control applications.
• Anticipate and provide solutions to project leadership and/or customers, prioritizing customer satisfaction with strong technical advisement.
• Adapt to a flexible work schedule and travel, if necessary, to participate in design, development, and startup of control systems at the client’s facility.

We are seeking a Rockwell Engineer to perform all aspects of process automation engineering and system integration, including initial concepts, specifications, design engineering, documentation, project implementation, testing, startup, and training of operating and maintenance personnel. As an automation expert, you will be a key member of a diverse team of professionals developing solutions for our client’s most complex automation challenges.

You will:

• Lead or work on a project team responsible for the design, configuration, and testing of continuous and batch control applications.

You have:

• 5+ years PLC experience in industry. Huge+ if you have GMP experience.
• BS Engineering
• Detail oriented with strong technical aptitude and desire for learning new technologies.
• Knowledge of industry and regulatory standards, design criteria and codes relevant to Instrumentation and Controls

• Demonstrated ability to develop process control system applications, utilizing Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Human Machine Interfaces (HMI), and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Systems, configuration of thin client server applications, design, developing & maintaining databases for data collection, configuring process historians and using reporting tools to present process data to operations & management, tuning control loops, providing control system startup services, troubleshooting existing control systems and providing control system qualifications.
• Expertise with the design, implementation, maintenance and troubleshooting of virtual server-based control system architectures, and understanding of control system network topology.
• Knowledge of process instrumentation specification, installation & troubleshooting, and control panel design, check-out, commissioning & troubleshooting.
