ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Robotics Software Engineer to develop autonomous navigation software for the Proto Rolling Robot. You will design, simulate, and deploy SLAM, local path planners, and motion control models.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement and test LiDAR/camera-based SLAM systems in indoor and outdoor environments.
• Write custom ROS2 nodes in C++ and Python for motion coordination and kinematics.
• Optimize real-time trajectory planners to ensure safe velocity adjustments at high speeds.
• Interface low-level motor controllers with high-level navigation decisions.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
