Job summary

BuildxPartners in Bengaluru is seeking a Lead Robotics Software Engineer to design, develop, and optimize AI-powered autonomous robotic systems. You will lead software for manipulation, motion planning, localization, and navigation, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust robotic solutions.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of hands-on robotics software experience, strong C++ and Python skills, and deep knowledge of ROS2, MoveIt2, Nav2, and simulation platforms such as Isaac

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence or related engineering discipline.
• 5–10 years of hands-on robotics software development experience.
• Strong experience with robotic manipulators, motion planning, localization, mapping, and autonomous navigation.
• Expertise in motion planning for 6DOF manipulators.
• Hands-on ROS2 development and custom drivers.
• Solid MoveIt2 and Nav2 knowledge; experience with Isaac Sim is a plus.

About the Role

We are hiring a Lead Robotics Software Engineer to build next-generation AI-powered autonomous robotic systems.
