Control Systems, Mechatronics, and Applied Physics, who are passionate about hands-on

experimentation, problem-based learning, and mentoring students in engineering

The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering theory and laboratory

courses, guiding student projects, and integrating real-world engineering applications into the curriculum. The role requires collaboration with faculty across Computer Science, AI, and

Engineering domains to promote interdisciplinary learning.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching and Academic Delivery

• Design and deliver project-based courses in Robotics and Applied Physics, including:
  • Mechanics, Kinematics, and Dynamics
  • Electronics and Sensors
  • Control Systems and Feedback Mechanisms
  • Microcontrollers and Embedded Systems (Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32, etc.)
  • Computer Vision for Robotics
  • Motion Planning and Navigation
  • Lab-based experimentation in physics and robotics
  • Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of Robotics and Applied Physics curriculum
  • Integrate real-world engineering problems, industry case studies, and hands-on lab work
  • Guide students in robotics projects such as autonomous robots, drones, robotic arms, and IoT-based systems
  • Provide technical feedback on design, implementation, and testing
  • Mentor students on careers in Robotics, Mechatronics, Automation, and Embedded Systems
  • Support students in preparing for internships and technical roles

Industry Alignment

• Stay updated with advancements in robotics, automation, AI-integrated robotics, and smart systems
• Bring contemporary tools and practices into classroom teaching
• Work closely with AI/ML faculty to integrate robotics with computer vision and machine learning
• Collaborate with engineering and lab teams for practical learning modules

Assessment and Evaluation

• Design practical lab assignments, mini-projects, and capstone evaluations

Qualifications and Experience

• Master’s degree or Phd in Physics, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on industry or academic experience in Robotics, Automation, or Applied Physics
• Demonstrated experience in building robotic systems, experimental physics setups, or real-world engineering applications
• Strong conceptual understanding of mechanics, electronics, and control systems
• Demonstrated commitment to teaching, mentorship, and hands-on learning

Required Skills

• Strong foundation in Physics and Engineering principles
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Sensors and actuators
  • Python and/or C++ programming
  • Basic AI/CV integration in robotics (good to have)
