Job summary

Metabook Xr seeks a dynamic STEM educator to deliver interactive robotics and AI sessions in classrooms and labs. You will teach programming with Scratch, Python, Arduino, and Raspberry Pi, and guide students through hands-on projects that integrate electronics, sensors, and coding.

You will manage STEM labs, mentor students for competitions, and align activities with CBSE/ICSE/IB/NEP 2020 frameworks while supporting teachers to foster curiosity and innovation.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching robotics and AI to school students.
• Proficient in Scratch, Python, C/C++ or similar languages.
• Excellent communication and classroom facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver interactive classroom and lab sessions in robotics, AI, and STEM concepts.
• Teach programming using Scratch, Python, block-based coding, Arduino, micro:bit, Raspberry Pi, or similar platforms.
• Manage and maintain STEM/Robotics/AI labs, tools, and kits.
• Prepare and mentor students for competitions, hackathons, and exhibitions.
• Align curriculum with CBSE/ICSE/IB/NEP 2020/ATL frameworks.
• Track student progress and provide structured feedback.
• Train and support school teachers where required.
• Introduce students to AI & emerging technologies such as ML concepts and computer vision.
• Design and implement project-based learning modules.
• Lead hands-on activities to foster inquiry and problem-solving.

Role & responsibilities

• 1. Deliver interactive classroom and lab sessions in: Robotics (mechanical design, sensors, actuators, automation, Coding & Computational Thinking
• 2. Artificial Intelligence (AI basics, data, logic, ethics age appropriate)
• STEM concepts (electronics, physics applications, mathematics in real life)
• 3. Teach programming using Scratch, Python, block-based coding, Arduino, micro:bit, Raspberry Pi, or similar platforms
• 4. Introduce students to AI & emerging technologies such as: Machine learning concepts (introductory level) Computer vision & AI applications for students
• 5. Internet of Things (IoT) basics
• 6.Design and implement project-based learning modules
• 7. Manage and maintain STEM / Robotics / AI labs, tools, and kits
• 8. Prepare and mentor students for competitions, hackathons, science exhibitions, and innovation challenges
• 9. Align curriculum with CBSE / ICSE / IB / NEP 2020 / ATL frameworks
• 10. Track student progress and provide structured feedback
• 11. Train and support school teachers where required

Preferred candidate profile

• 1. Bachelors degree or diploma in Engineering, Computer Science, Al, Data Science, Electronics, Mechatronics, or STEM Education
• 2. Hands-on experience in robotics, coding, and Al training for school students
• 3. Proficiency in Scratch, Python, C/C++, or similar languages
• 4. Working knowledge of robotics kits and Al tools/platforms
• 5. Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple, engaging, age-appropriate manner
• 6. Strong communication, presentation, and classroom facilitation skills
