Job summary

Metabook Xr is seeking an educator to deliver interactive robotics, AI, and STEM sessions in classroom and lab settings. You will cover mechanical design, sensors, actuators, and coding, while integrating AI basics, IoT, and real-life math/physics concepts for diverse learners.

You will mentor students, prepare them for competitions, and align activities with CBSE/ICSE/IB/NEP frameworks. Strong communication and hands-on teaching experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or diploma in Engineering, Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Electronics, Mechatronics, or STEM Education.
• Hands-on robotics, coding, and AI training for school students.
• Proficiency in Scratch, Python, C/C++, or similar languages.
• Working knowledge of robotics kits and AI tools/platforms.
• Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple, age-appropriate manner.
• Strong communication, presentation, and classroom facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver interactive classroom and lab sessions in Robotics (design, sensors, actuators, coding).
• Teach AI basics, data, logic, and ethics at age-appropriate levels.
• Cover STEM concepts across electronics, physics, math in real-life contexts.
• Use Scratch, Python, Arduino, micro:bit, Raspberry Pi for programming.
• Introduce ML basics and computer vision concepts for students.
• Cover IoT basics and project-based learning modules.
• Manage and maintain STEM/Robotics/AI labs, tools, and kits.
• Prepare students for competitions, hackathons, science exhibitions, and challenges.
• Align curriculum with CBSE/ICSE/IB/NEP 2020/ATL frameworks.
• Track student progress and provide feedback.
• Train and support school teachers as needed.

Role & responsibilities

1. Deliver interactive classroom and lab sessions in: Robotics (mechanical design, sensors, actuators, automation, Coding & Computational Thinking
2. Artificial Intelligence (AI basics, data, logic, ethics age appropriate)
3. STEM concepts (electronics, physics applications, mathematics in real life)
4. Teach programming using Scratch, Python, block-based coding, Arduino, micro:bit, Raspberry Pi, or similar platforms
5. Introduce students to AI & emerging technologies such as: Machine learning concepts (introductory level) Computer vision & AI applications for students
6. Internet of Things (IoT) basics
7. Design and implement project-based learning modules
8. Manage and maintain STEM / Robotics / AI labs, tools, and kits
9. Prepare and mentor students for competitions, hackathons, science exhibitions, and innovation challenges
10. Align curriculum with CBSE / ICSE / IB / NEP 2020 / ATL frameworks
11. Track student progress and provide structured feedback
12. Train and support school teachers where required
