Job summary

TR Solutions in India is seeking an experienced industrial robotics engineer to program and troubleshoot multiple brands (ABB, FANUC, KUKA, Yaskawa, Kawasaki, Nachi) and to lead on-site installation, commissioning, and machine acceptance at customer sites.

You will support training, collaborate with design and automation teams, apply BIW manufacturing knowledge, and work with PLCs at a basic level.

Qualifications

• Educational requirements as listed: BE/ME/EC/EEE or Diploma in Mechatronics with relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in industrial robotics programming and commissioning.
• Knowledge of safety standards and automation best practices.
• Excellent communication in English or Hindi.

Responsibilities

• Program and troubleshoot industrial robots from brands such as ABB, FANUC, KUKA, Yaskawa, Kawasaki, and Nachi.
• Implement and support robotic applications including spot welding, material handling, sealing & gluing, roller hemming, and arc welding.
• Lead or assist onsite installation, commissioning, debugging, and machine acceptance at customer locations.
• Provide technical training and support to customers and internal teams.
• Collaborate with design and automation teams to integrate with production lines.
• Apply knowledge of BIW manufacturing and automotive assembly line processes.
• Utilize basic robotic simulation software for offline programming and layout planning; understand PLC programs at a basic level.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Program and troubleshoot industrial robots such as ABB, FANUC, KUKA, Yaskawa, Kawasaki, Nachi, etc.
• Implement and support robotic applications including but not not limited to:
  • Spot Welding
  • Material Handling
  • Sealing & Gluing
  • Roller Hemming
  • Arc Welding
• Lead or assist in onsite installation, commissioning, debugging, and machine acceptance processes at customer locations.
• Provide technical training and support to customers and internal teams.
• Collaborate with design and automation teams to ensure smooth integration with production lines.
• Apply knowledge of BIW (Body-in-White) manufacturing and automotive assembly line processes.
• Utilize basic understanding of robotic simulation software to support offline programming and layout planning (advantageous).
• Interpret and work with PLC programs and industrial controls architecture (basic level).

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, EEE, or Electronics & Communication (EC)
  OR
  Diploma in Mechatronics with relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in industrial robotics programming and commissioning.
• Knowledge of safety standards and automation best practices.
• Excellent communication skills in English or Hindi. Knowledge of additional regional languages will be an added advantage.
