Freelance in Bengaluru seeks a hands-on Robotics Engineer to work on development, prototyping, integration and testing of robotic hardware systems.

This hardware-focused role emphasizes building and debugging physical robotic systems rather than pure software work. The candidate should have hands-on experience with robotics hardware, electronics, sensors, actuators and robot integration.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Robotics / Mechatronics / Automation.
• Strong understanding of electronics and embedded systems.
• Experience with sensors, actuators, motors and motor drivers.
• Experience with ESP32 / STM32 / Arduino / Raspberry Pi or similar MCUs/SBCs.
• Knowledge of Embedded C/C++.
• Experience with hardware debugging and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, CAN.
• Experience with prototyping and hardware integration.
• Ability to read and interpret datasheets and circuit diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly prototype, test and iterate robotic systems.
• Work closely with mechanical, electrical and software teams during robot development.
• Participate in system-level integration and validation of robotic platforms.

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Robotics Engineer to work on the development, prototyping, integration and testing of robotic systems.

This is a hardware-focused robotics role, suitable for engineers who enjoy building and debugging physical robotic systems rather than working purely on robotics software.

This is NOT a purely software/IT robotics role.
Candidates should have demonstrable hands‑on experience with robotic hardware, electronics, embedded systems, sensors, actuators and physical robot integration.
