Job summary

Monarch Surveyors & Engineering Consultants is seeking a competent Road Engineer to drive road infrastructure projects from planning through execution. You will design, supervise, and monitor highway works while ensuring compliance with technical specs, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate has 3–10 years in civil road projects, with strong skills in AutoCAD, MSP, estimation, and contract management.

Qualifications

• 3-10 years of relevant experience in civil infrastructure projects.
• Hands-on experience in Road and Highway Construction is mandatory.
• Experience in Bridge Construction, Building Projects, and Water Supply Infrastructure will be an added advantage.
• Experience in site supervision, project execution, planning, estimation, and quality management.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, supervise, and execute road and highway construction projects in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and construction methodologies.
• Prepare quantity estimates, BOQs, cost estimates, and technical reports.
• Develop and monitor project schedules using Microsoft Project (MSP) to ensure timely project delivery.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and government authorities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Supervise site activities and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
• Monitor construction progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure adherence to project milestones.
• Prepare tender documents, technical proposals, bid evaluations, and contract-related documentation.
• Manage project documentation, progress reports, measurement records, and project correspondence.
• Ensure effective implementation of Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) procedures.
• Assist in contract administration, billing verification, resource planning, and project execution.

• Strong knowledge of IRC, MORTH, PMGSY Specifications, IS Codes, and other applicable engineering standards.
• Experience coordinating with government departments, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Exposure to tendering, contract administration, project monitoring, and statutory compliance.
