Job summary

Gaurs Group is seeking an experienced Plant Operations leader for its Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) plant. You will oversee end-to-end operations, ensure safe and efficient production, and coordinate with multiple teams to meet project schedules and quality standards.

The role requires strong leadership in batching, QC, maintenance and logistics, with a focus on cost optimization and continuous improvement. You will drive plant performance and ensure compliance with IS codes and environmental norms.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end operations of the Ready Mix Concrete plant ensuring safe, efficient, cost-effective production
• Develop and execute production plans, ensure timely supply and dispatch to project sites per construction schedules
• Oversee batching, concrete production, QC, maintenance, logistics and resource management
• Ensure concrete production complies with approved mix designs, customer specs and quality standards
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Project Execution, QA/QC, Procurement, Maintenance, Dispatch, Planning) for smooth plant operations
• Monitor raw material procurement, inventory and consumption to prevent disruptions and optimize costs
• Drive continuous improvement in productivity, equipment utilization, and overall plant efficiency
• Ensure adherence to IS Codes, safety regulations, environmental norms and company quality standards
• Review testing reports, mix designs and lab operations to maintain product consistency
• Manage preventive and breakdown maintenance to maximize uptime and reliability
• Oversee transit mixer operations, dispatch planning and logistics for on-time delivery
• Prepare and review production MIS, quality and maintenance reports, cost analysis and dashboards
• Lead and develop teams across Production, QA/QC, Maintenance, Dispatch and Stores
• Support growth initiatives, capacity planning, budgeting and implementation of best practices in RMC operations

• Lead and manage end-to-end operations of the Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) Plant, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective production.
• Develop production plans and ensure timely availability and dispatch of concrete to project sites as per construction schedules.
• Oversee batching plant operations, concrete production, quality control, maintenance, logistics, and resource management.
• Ensure production of concrete as per approved mix designs, customer specifications, and applicable quality standards.
• Coordinate with Project Execution, QA/QC, Procurement, Maintenance, Dispatch, and Planning teams to ensure smooth plant operations.
• Monitor raw material procurement, inventory management, stock control, and consumption to avoid production disruptions.
• Drive continuous improvement in plant productivity, operational efficiency, equipment utilization, and cost optimization.
• Ensure compliance with IS Codes, safety regulations, environmental norms, and company quality standards.
• Review concrete testing reports, quality parameters, mix designs, and laboratory operations to maintain product consistency.
• Manage preventive and breakdown maintenance activities to maximize plant uptime and operational reliability.
• Monitor transit mixer operations, dispatch planning, and logistics management to ensure timely concrete delivery.
• Prepare and review production MIS, quality reports, maintenance reports, cost analysis, and performance dashboards.
• Lead and develop teams across Production, QA/QC, Maintenance, Dispatch, and Stores functions.
• Support business growth initiatives, capacity planning, budgeting, and implementation of best practices in RMC operations.
