Job summary

Jio Finance Limited in Hyderabad seeks an experienced professional to drive SME loan acquisition, manage a growing portfolio, and coordinate end-to-end loan processing from sourcing to disbursement.

You will evaluate client financials, prepare CAMs, monitor risk and NPAs, ensure compliance, and develop local market connections to stay ahead of regulatory changes and competitor offerings. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential to meet business targets.

Qualifications

• MBA/PGDM in Finance or Marketing preferred.
• 6–10 years of SME/Commercial/Business Banking loan sourcing and portfolio management experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial ratio analysis, balance sheet assessment, cash flow evaluation, and SME lending products.

Responsibilities

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Business Development & Acquisition: Drive fresh acquisition of Small & Medium Enterprise (SME) clients for unsecured/secured business loans, working capital limits, trade finance, and term loans.
• Portfolio Management: Manage and grow a portfolio of SME borrowing clients, ensuring high customer engagement, cross-selling of financial products, and retention.
• Credit Analysis & Assessment: Evaluate client financial statements, tax returns, banking statements, and business models to prepare detailed Credit Appraisal Memos (CAM).
• End-to-End Execution: Lead the entire loan lifecycle from initial sourcing and document collection to underwriting coordination, sanctioning, and timely disbursement.
• Risk & Compliance Management: Perform regular monitoring of portfolio performance, conduct annual reviews, track repayment schedules, and minimize non-performing assets (NPAs).
• Market Intelligence: Maintain strong local market networks (DSA/Connector relationships, industry hubs) to stay ahead of market trends, regulatory updates, and competitor product offerings

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: MBA / PGDM in Finance or Marketing is preferred.
• Experience: 6 to 10 years of experience in SME/Commercial/Business Banking loan sourcing and portfolio management within Banks, NBFCs, or Fintechs.
• Technical Skills: Sound knowledge of financial ratio analysis, balance sheet assessment, cash flow evaluation, and SME lending products (Working Capital, LAP, Unsecured Business Loans).
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a proven track record of meeting business targets.
