Risk Manager, RCS (UK), RCS (UK) Are you ready to apply your risk expertise to Amazon's unique environment? We are looking for a candidate with demonstrated expertise in UK /EU regulated financial services company to join the UK Risk team. You will play a vital role in ensuring that Amazon complies with local and global legal and compliance requirements, using a pragmatic approach to balance risk management guidance against competing priorities. You will also help drive the adoption of Agentic AI and emerging AI-powered tools to enhance risk identification, monitoring, and remediation capabilities. You will join a team that partners across the organization to shape the future of Amazon’s evolving risk and compliance programs and where we value ownership, insight, intellectual flexibility, and sound business judgment.

Key job responsibilities (1)

Contribute to the risk management program for the UK / EU licensed entities (payments, insurance distribution, and credit broking), including:

• Roadmap delivery, including embedding of risk management mechanisms and support for change management (e.g. product launches etc.);
• Monitoring of risk exposure versus entity risk appetite, with escalation as appropriate;
• Facilitate detailed, data driven narratives to inform leadership/Board members of risk levels, mitigations, and impacts;
• Incident response support.

Key job responsibilities (2)

Develop the risk management framework, including development of policies, procedures, toolkits, and other governance documents as necessary:

• Business Continuity / Operational Resilience;
• Product Risk Assessment/Material Changes to Business Products;
• Leveraging AI-driven tooling (e.g., intelligent agents, automated workflows, and GenAI-powered analytics) to scale framework effectiveness and reduce manual overhead.

A day in the life

You will use your experience working with compliance and businesses and working autonomously to:

• meet with external customers & give advice and feedback on application of risk management;
• draft documents, provide leadership with reporting, schedule meetings and workshops, and deliver expertise to deep dive issues, quantify risk and drive remediation;
• Leverage Agentic AI tools and automation to enhance risk analysis, streamline reporting, and accelerate remediation workflows;
• work on global projects, raise your hand to innovate the global risk management program.

Basic Qualifications

Experience in risk management and internal audit including: performing risk assessments and audits, designing controls, managing enterprise control frameworks, and prioritizing risk

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the financial services industry - 1+ years of regulatory frameworks and policy analysis methodologies experience
