Qualifications

• Experience with ETL, SQL or other database skills, Alteryx, Power Query or similar.
• Hands-on Python scripting for data transformation and automation.
• Experience designing AI-driven automations to streamline workflows and support data analysis is a plus.
• Knowledge of BI/data visualization software (Tableau, Power BI, Google Studio, Qlik).
• Exposure to data from accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle/PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, etc.
• Exposure to ServiceNow, Jira, etc.
• Familiarity with statistical/analytical techniques including NLP, ML, modeling, and hypothesis testing.
• Experience leading analytic teams delivering analytic frameworks to solve complex business problems.
• Ability to identify and process critical data to challenge status quo through quantitative methodologies.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Having experience using ETL (Extract, Transform and Load), and having experience with SQL (or other database skills), Alteryx, Power Query and / or other agile technologies;
• Having hands-on experience in scripting languages like Python to perform data transformation and mining along with building automations;
• Experience designing and implementing AI-driven automations to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and support data analysis is a plus;
• Possessing knowledge of business intelligence & data visualization software (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Google Studio, Qlik);
• Having exposure to data from accounting systems applications such as SAP, Oracle / PeopleSoft, JD Edwards etc.
• Having exposure to ServiceNow, Jira etc.,
• Having exposure to a range of statistical and analytical techniques such as: Natural language processing, machine learning, conceptual modeling, algorithms, statistical analysis, predictive modeling and hypothesis testing;
• Having experience leading analytic teams that have created and applied analytic frameworks to solve complex business problems;
• Having the ability to identify and process critical data (e.g. internal client data, external public data, and new sources of data) to challenge the status quo through innovative thought leadership in the application of quantitative methodologies to improve decision-making; and,
• Having experience identifying and addressing client needs: building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships.

• Having the ability to think critically about the problem at hand and apply analytics strategy to solve problem and/or identify relevant observations for reporting:
• Be comfortable with working in a fluid and fast paced environment where priorities, approaches, and deliverables are rapidly developed and iterated upon.
• Demonstrated history of working with business and other non-technical stakeholders
• Strong communication skills; especially in translating technical concepts and results in business terms and impact.
• Having a strong attention to detail; ability to clearly document work performed and observations identified:
• Having the ability to synthesize key themes/concepts, critical issues/risks, etc. into succinct executive level communications (i.e., PowerPoint, written reports, etc.)
