Job summary

Tredence in Bengaluru is seeking a highly motivated Alteryx Data Engineer with 3-7 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions using Alteryx Designer.

You will build automated ETL/ELT workflows, integrate data from diverse sources, and collaborate with analysts and data scientists to meet business requirements. Familiarity with cloud platforms and BI tools is valued.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Build automated data pipelines for data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading.
• Integrate data from multiple sources including databases, APIs, cloud platforms, and flat files.
• Perform data profiling, cleansing, and quality checks to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and data scientists to understand data requirements.
• Develop reusable Alteryx workflows, macros, and analytic applications.
• Monitor and troubleshoot workflow performance issues and implement optimizations.
• Create technical documentation, process flows, and operational runbooks.
• Participate in data governance, security, and compliance initiatives.
• Support reporting and analytics requirements using BI tools.

• Knowledge of Python or R integration within Alteryx.
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Alteryx certification (Core, Advanced, or Designer Expert) is a plus.
