Job summary

PwC Hyderabad is looking for a data analytics professional with strong ETL, SQL and scripting skills to translate data into actionable insights across our engagements.

You will drive AI-driven automations, work with BI tools like Tableau and Power BI, and collaborate with clients to address analytic needs, supporting decision making and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience using ETL and SQL or other database skills, plus Alteryx/Power Query or similar tools.
• Hands-on Python scripting for data transformation, mining, and automation.
• Experience designing AI-driven automations to streamline workflows and analytics.
• Knowledge of BI/data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Google Studio, or Qlik.
• Exposure to data from SAP, Oracle/PeopleSoft, or similar systems.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira, and related tools.
• Knowledge of NLP, ML, statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and hypothesis testing.
• Experience leading analytic teams and applying analytic frameworks to business problems.
• Ability to leverage diverse data sources to challenge status quo with quantitative methods.
• Experience identifying client needs and building networks of client relationships.

Job description

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following:

• Having experience using ETL (Extract, Transform and Load), and having experience with SQL (or other database skills), Alteryx, Power Query and / or other agile technologies;
• Having hands-on experience in scripting languages like Python to perform data transformation and mining along with building automations;
• Experience designing and implementing AI-driven automations to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and support data analysis is a plus;
• Possessing knowledge of business intelligence & data visualization software (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Google Studio, Qlik);
• Having exposure to data from accounting systems applications such as SAP, Oracle / PeopleSoft, JD Edwards etc.
• Having exposure to ServiceNow, Jira etc.,
• Having exposure to a range of statistical and analytical techniques such as: Natural language processing, machine learning, conceptual modeling, algorithms, statistical analysis, predictive modeling and hypothesis testing;
• Having experience leading analytic teams that have created and applied analytic frameworks to solve complex business problems;
• Having the ability to identify and process critical data (e.g. internal client data, external public data, and new sources of data) to challenge the status quo through innovative thought leadership in the application of quantitative methodologies to improve decision-making; and,
• Having experience identifying and addressing client needs: building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships.
