Job summary

Haryana Knowledge Corporation in Chandigarh seeks an experienced IT risk and security specialist to join our risk management team. You will conduct IT risk assessments, perform VAPT activities, and support policy development and compliance reporting.

Ideal candidates have 5 years of experience, a relevant bachelor’s degree with 60% marks, and certifications such as CISSP or CISM. Experience with State/Central Govt. projects preferred.

Qualifications

• 4-year full-time Bachelor's degree in IT/CSE/Electronics & Communication/Computer Applications or equivalent with 60% marks.
• MCA (full-time) or M.E./M.Tech (full-time) in same fields with 60% marks.
• Total Experience: 5 years.
• At least 3 years' experience in IT risk assessments, compliance audits, and VAPT activities.
• Industry-recognized information security certifications preferred.
• Govt. project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic IT risk assessments and compliance audits across systems and processes.
• Support VAPT activities and maintain a risk register with likelihood/impact ratings for identified risks.
• Track remediation actions and follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely closure.
• Assist in developing and updating risk management policies, procedures and controls.
• Prepare risk and compliance status reports for the Lead - Incident Management and CISO.

Job description

• Conduct periodic IT risk assessments and compliance audits across various systems and processes.
• Support VAPT activities and maintain a risk register with likelihood/impact ratings for identified risks.
• Track remediation actions and follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely closure.
• Assist in developing and updating risk management policies. procedures and controls.
• Prepare risk and compliance status reports for the Lead -Incident Management and CISO.

B. Academic Qualifications and Experience

(a) Basic Qualification:

4-year full-time Bachelor's degree in IT/CSE/Electronics & Communication/Computer Applications or equivalent with 60% marks, OR MCA (full-time), OR M.E./M.Tech (full-time) in the same fields with 60% marks, from a Government-recognized university/institution.

(Total Experience: 5 years)

(b) Experience:

• At least 3 years' experience in conducting IT Risk assessments, compliance audits, and VAPT activities.
• Any industry-recognized certification related to information security shall be preferred.
• Experience with State/Central Govt. projects shall be preferred.
