Job summary

Haryana Knowledge Corporation invites applications for an experienced IT security leader to oversee incident management, risk assessments, and VAPT. The role focuses on coordinating audits, tracking remediation, and developing incident playbooks with SLAs.

Responsibilities include SOC oversight, root-cause analyses, and reporting significant incidents to authorities in collaboration with the CISO. Strong govt project exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4-year full-time Bachelor's degree in IT/CSE/Electronics & Communication/Computer Applications or equivalent, OR MCA (full-time). OR M.E./M.Tech (full-time) in the same fields.
• Total experience: 12 years with at least 8 years in IT risk assessments, compliance audits, and VAPT.
• Industry certifications in information security are preferred.
• Experience with State/Central Government projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end incident management process for security and operational incidents.
• Coordinate IT risk assessments, compliance audits and VAPT exercises, and track remediation to closure.
• Establish and maintain incident response playbooks, escalation matrices and SLAs.
• Oversee monitoring/SOC functions to detect, triage and respond to incidents in a timely manner.
• Prepare root-cause analysis and post-incident reports with corrective and preventive action plans.
• Coordinate with the CISO/Data Privacy Officer on reporting of significant incidents to competent authorities.

A) Educational Qualification:

4-year full-time Bachelor's degree in IT/CSE/Electronics & Communication/Computer Applications or equivalent, OR MCA (full-time). OR M.E./M.Tech (full-time) in the same fields, from a Government-recognized university/institution.

B) Experience : (Total Experience: 12 years)

• At least 8 years' experience in conducting IT Risk assessments, compliance audits, and VAPT activities.
• Any industry-recognized certification related to information security shall be preferred.
• Experience with State/Central Govt. projects shall be preferred.
