We are:Integrated Solutioning is Accenture’s globally connected solutioning organization, uniting deal-shaping specialists and solution architects to design integrated, AI-enabled client solutions and define solution approach, structure and key risks early.Global Solution Advisory is a specialty sales advisory capability within it, focused on Strategy & Consulting (S&C) deals, thought leadership and account planning, equipping account leaders with industry expertise, market insights, messaging and assets to win outcome-led deals.You are:An experienced Senior Consulting Leader with deep retail industry expertise. You will build and lead a multi-disciplinary team that supports pre-sales solutioning, shapes proposals and guides selling projects in retail.Key Focus Areas:Retail Industry SME: deal solutioning with in-depth knowledge of retail dynamics, especially North America/European markets.Retail Merchandising Deals Solutioning: merchandising strategy deals — assortment planning, category management, pricing and promotion optimization, space planning, inventory control.Retail Tech Platforms: hands‑on functional (NOT technical) experience with platforms such as Oracle Retail, Blue Yonder (JDA) Category Management and Infor Retail for deals with a platform component.Agentic AI: shape Agentic AI solutions in retail.The work:This work will include but is not limited to:Support annual planning (sales targets, target clients, sales assets) and research on targets for the next 6-12 months.Support sales / pipeline reviews; prepare for and support first client conversations.Define proposal response requirements and messaging, bringing the latest knowledge and content to each opportunity (industry trends, benchmarking, competitive insights).Prepare and help lead orals with innovating selling that differentiates Accenture.Support go-to-market assets and maintain the global repository (proposals, stage 0 decks, credentials).Run loss / delivery reviews to improve sales and harvest deliverables.Key Responsibilities:Team Building & Leadership: seed and oversee a multi-disciplinary retail deal-support team, growing it to extend service coverage across geographies.Industry-Specific Deal Support: own end-to-end deal solutioning for retail clients — solution architecture, feasibility, business case, pricing, differentiators and proposals.Tailored Multi-Team Engagement: partner with Accenture teams that sell and deliver — Market Leads, Client Account Leads, Global Network and Sales Support.Thought Leadership & Asset Creation: stay ahead of emerging retail trends (AI-driven personalization, inventory automation, predictive supply chain analytics) and build thought leadership and assets.Qualifications:Deep Consulting Experience in Retail: 12+ years delivering retail projects in North America/European markets, with strong grounding in store operations, omnichannel retailing and customer experience transformation.Retail Merchandising Platforms: hands‑on experience with Oracle Retail and JDA (now Blue Yonder) Category Management, and how they integrate to optimize assortment, pricing, inventory and category performance.Agentic AI Expertise – demonstrated ability to design Agent use cases and build working Agents.Deal Solutioning Experience: demonstrated success leading deal solutioning — crafting proposals, solution design, presenting to C‑suite executives.Business Acumen & Communication: exceptional communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills, able to influence senior client decision-makers.Education: MBA from a tier 1 institute
