Bear Systems in Delhi NCR seeks a Senior RF & Communications Engineer for UAV platforms. You will design, harden, and test RF links, balancing range with weight and mounting constraints.
You will enhance the datalink chain, implement ECCM measures, and validate performance across bench and field ranges to ensure mission readiness. The role focuses on real-world interference resilience, secure datalinks, and end-to-end RX/TX verification, reporting to the Team Aerospace & Defence Engineering
Design, harden, and test the RF and communications links that keep UAV platforms connected and controllable in contested electromagnetic environments.
Team Aerospace & Defence Engineering
Location Delhi NCR
Arrangement On-site
Type Full-time
Level Senior
Experience 4+ years
Design and select antennas and RF front ends for command, control, and telemetry links, balancing range, gain, and platform constraints (weight, aerodynamics, mounting) against real mission profiles, not just a spec sheet in a lab.
Own RF system enhancement across the datalink chain — power amplifiers, filtering, frequency planning, and link budget analysis — to push usable range and reliability under real-world interference, not clean-room conditions.
Build and integrate anti‑jamming and ECCM measures: frequency-hopping spread spectrum, adaptive nulling, and resilient waveform design so the platform keeps flying and reporting when someone is actively trying to break the link.
Own end-to-end RX/TX testing — bench, anechoic chamber, and live field range — validating link performance, jam resistance, and failure behaviour before a platform is trusted with an operational mission.
Bachelor's in Electronics & Communication Engineering, RF/Microwave Engineering, or related discipline; Master's preferred for anti-jam/ECCM specialisation
Structured to compete with leading defence and aerospace employers.
