Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Analyst, Revenue Management to join the IHG Revenue Services Europe Team. You will derive data-driven insights to help guide revenue strategy for the Portfolio Revenue Manager in Europe, driving analyses to identify key drivers of revenue performance and to develop and update analytical tools.

• Recommend strategic actions as a result of any analysis conducted.

Role Purpose

The Analyst, Revenue Management is an essential part of the IHG Revenue Services Europe Team. You will be responsible for deriving data-driven insights to help guide revenue strategy for IHG Revenue Services Portfolio Revenue Manager in Europe.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for driving analyses to help identify key drivers of revenue performance as well as developing and updating tools.

Key Accountabilities

• Maintain and update the current tools used in the service
• Develop new tools, using the IHG internal and external database to support the needs of PRM
• Ensure Mastertemplate and userguide are constantly up to date
• Update/prepare analytical tools and reports on weekly basis or as necessary
• Track commercial growth strategy
• Measure revenue performance at several different analysis levels
• Identify key trends in revenue performance and areas of strengths/weaknesses
• Recommend strategic actions as a result of any analysis conducted

Key Skills & Experiences

• Analytical aptitude.
• Advanced use of Excel, Databases, Pivot Table, PowerPoint preferred
• Proficient use of database & statistical analysis software that support quantitative analysis (specifically SQL, VBA, Google Big queries, & MS Power automate script
• Proficient use of data visualization tools and ability to produce quantitative and qualitative analysis using such tools (specifically Tableau)
• Good at both oral & written English

Qualifications –

Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, preferred. Prefer an equivalent combination of education and work-related experienced.

Experience –

1-3 years’ experience in analytics or revenue management related position.
