Job summary

Uniqlo in Gurgaon seeks an experienced buyer/merchandiser to establish buying and pricing strategies for current and future seasons, and to build daily to seasonal product plans that identify growth opportunities.

You will manage day-to-day performance against targets, organize inventories, issue POs, and monitor production and delivery from factory to the local warehouse, while communicating effectively with store teams and management.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years relevant experience.
• Planning mindset.
• Strong financial and commercial awareness.
• Ability to analyse data trends logically and explain using numbers.
• Ability to communicate with stakeholders and influence at all levels.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

• Build daily, weekly, monthly and seasonal product strategies and identify growth opportunities.
• Manage day to day performance of the business versus set targets and pro-actively manage adjustments to ensure strong business results.
• Facilitate strong communications across the Company and ensure awareness is the line with key initiatives.
• Establish strong relationships and communication, stretching from store to Management.
• Organize and manage inventories.
• Issue POs and monitor production and delivery schedules from factory to the local warehouse.
