Job summary

The Greater Bombay Cooperative Bank is seeking a skilled professional to oversee Retail lending, housing and related loan portfolios in Mumbai. You will drive business growth, maintain asset quality and coordinate with dealers and partners to expand the Retail loan book.

The role emphasizes strategic marketing, risk-aware portfolio management and regular MIS reporting to senior management in a fast-paced banking environment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for achievement of business goals for Retail loans & advances.
• Deliver budgeted profits and build a robust pipeline of proposals.
• Manage the portfolio of Retail commercial loans and Housing Loans as per delegation.
• Develop new tie-ups with builders, mortgage loans, auto loans and personal loans.
• Introduce marketing strategies and tie-ups, process re-engineering in the Retail portfolio.
• Provide effective quantitative and qualitative reporting and MIS to senior management.
• Schedule knowledge sharing / training sessions on retail lending products for Branch Personnel.
• Periodically review, renew and monitor the portfolio to ensure asset quality is maintained.
• Liaise with registered dealers, vendors and authorities of various tie-ups engaged for growth of Retail loan portfolio.
• Approve release of Securities of closed accounts.

Job description

• Loan Bucket of Rs. 5Lac to 50 Lac (Retail Loan)
• Retail Loans comprise of Housing Loans, Personal Loans, Vehicle Loans, Education Loans, Working Cpital limits to traders/ Shopkeepers, auto - rickshaw loans, SHGs and other special schemes of the Bank
• Responsible for achievement of business goals for Retail loans & advances.
• This includes delivering budjeted p rofits, achieving targeted asset level, building a robust pipeline of proposals, arresting asset quality slippages and achieving budgeted fee based revenues etc.
• Effectively managing the portfolio of Retail commercial loans and Housing Loans as per delegation matrix - processing and renewal of Advances, CC and FOD.
• Reponsible for new tie - ups with builders, mortgage loans, auto loans and personal loans.
• Responsible for product Innovations, Product Monitoring and Review that will contribute to the achievement of the business targets.
• Responsible for introducing marketing strategies,tie ups ,process re-engineering in the Retail portfolio to achieve business targets and maximize returns.
• Providing effective quantitative and qualitative reporting and MIS to senior management for better strategic decision making.
• Scheduling need based knowledge sharing / training sessions on retail lending products for Branch Personnel.
• Periodically review, renew and monitor the portfolio to ensure asset quality is manintained.
• Effectively liaison with registered dealers,vendors and authorities of various tie-ups engaged for the growth of the Retail loan portfolio like Auto dealers, SHGS,ETC.
• Placing reports and MIS in LCM,CRMC and other related committee-
• Approving release of Securities of closed accounts.
