Job summary

The Leela Gandhinagar is seeking an experienced Banquet and Events Manager to plan, coordinate, and execute banquet events, conferences, weddings, and corporate functions, ensuring guest experiences meet The Leela's luxury hospitality standards. Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in hotel/hospitality management.
• 3–5+ years of banquet, catering or F&B management in a luxury hotel.
• Experience with weddings, conferences, MICE and social functions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of banquet and event services.
• Review BEOs and ensure flawless event execution.
• Coordinate with Sales, Kitchen, Stewarding, Housekeeping and Engineering teams for smooth operations.
• Supervise banquet setup, service delivery and event breakdown.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing requests and resolving concerns promptly.
• Recruit, train, schedule and evaluate banquet team members.
• Maintain luxury service standards and comply with health and safety regulations.
• Monitor labor costs, inventory, equipment usage and departmental budgets.
• Conduct pre-event briefings and post-event reviews with the team.
• Ensure banquet facilities, furniture and equipment are well maintained.
• Support revenue generation through efficient resource use and upselling.
