Job Summary

The Captain is responsible for supervising day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring excellent guest service, coordinating with service staff, and maintaining service standards. The role requires strong leadership, operational knowledge, and the ability to create a memorable dining experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service

• Ensure guests receive prompt, courteous, and professional service.
• Handle guest queries, requests, and complaints efficiently.
• Build positive guest relationships and enhance guest satisfaction.

Operations

• Supervise restaurant service during operational hours.
• Conduct daily briefings and allocate duties to service associates.
• Monitor table turnover and seating arrangements.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, hygiene, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and bar teams for smooth service operations.

Team Management

• Guide and support stewards and service associates.
• Train team members on service standards and product knowledge.
• Monitor grooming, punctuality, and discipline of staff.

Sales & Revenue

• Promote menu items and upsell food and beverages.
• Ensure accurate billing and payment processing.
• Support initiatives to improve guest spending and outlet revenue.

Compliance

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards as per company policies.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and statutory regulations.

Candidate Profile

Education

• Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management preferred.
