Job summary

Azim Premji Foundation is seeking a Resource Person to lead urban programme implementation across 1 to 4 clusters in Bengaluru. The role includes supervising cluster coordinators, visiting centres weekly, and ensuring smooth operations while building capacity and maintaining MIS usage.

You will oversee capacity building, attend regular review meetings, and collaborate with implementing partners. Willingness to travel within the city and own a two-wheeler is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a civil society organization in a programme role at block/district/zone/ward level.
• Prior experience in using MIS Systems.
• Working knowledge of basic budgeting and interpreting utilization certificates.

Responsibilities

• The Resource Person will be overall in charge of the urban programme implementation in 1 to 4 clusters.
• Provide supportive supervision for cluster coordinators (welfare rights, children centre, youth centre and elderly centre coordinators).
• Visit each centre weekly to support operations, provide feedback, address issues and interact with the community.
• Support capacity building for centre coordinators on identified topics; identify gaps and build capacity building plans for each cluster; facilitate cluster level meetings of all coordinators.
• Attend monthly review meetings of cluster coordinators and programme coordinators at the city level; participate in fortnightly, monthly, and quarterly partner meetings.
• Ensure efficient usage of MIS systems by all staff; facilitate rollout and stabilisation of MIS in the field; prepare all reports as required by the project.

• To support the capacity building for centre coordinators on identified topics.
• Also identify gaps and build capacity building plans for each cluster.
• To facilitate cluster level meetings of all coordinators.
• To attend the monthly review meetings of cluster co-ordinators, children/youth/elderly coordinators, programme coordinators at the city level.
• To participate in the fortnightly, monthly, and quarterly meetings organized by the implementing partners.

MIS systems

• Ensure efficient usage of MIS systems by all staff.
• Facilitate in rolling out and stabilisation of the MIS systems in the field.
• Prepare all reports and documents as per the requirement of the project.
