Position: Resident Engineer - Signalling & Telecommunications (S&T)

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Resident Engineer S&T to oversee and supervise Signalling & Telecommunications works for railway infrastructure projects. The candidate will be responsible for site supervision, project execution, coordination, quality monitoring, and ensuring that all S&T works are completed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor the execution of Railway Signalling & Telecommunications (S&T) works at project sites.
- Ensure construction and installation activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, client representatives, and other project stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of assigned works.
- Review technical documents, drawings, specifications, and work methodologies related to S&T systems.
- Conduct site inspections and identify technical issues, risks, and areas requiring corrective action.
- Ensure quality control and compliance throughout the execution of signalling and telecommunication works.
- Prepare and maintain project progress reports, inspection records, and other relevant documentation.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including Civil, Electrical, and Railway Engineering teams.
- Ensure compliance with applicable railway standards, safety requirements, and statutory regulations.
Educational Qualification
Candidates should possess either:
- Graduate Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Electronics & Communication Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in the construction industry and/or Railway Signalling.
OR
- Diploma in Civil, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in the construction industry and/or Railway Signalling.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 1015 years of relevant professional experience, depending on educational qualification.
- Strong experience in Railway Signalling & Telecommunications (S&T) and construction/project execution.
- Experience in railway infrastructure projects, signalling systems, site supervision, and project coordination is preferred.

Retired Railway/PSU Professionals
Retired Engineers may also be considered if they have:
- At least 7 years of experience in a Gazetted Engineering/S&T cadre within Indian Railways.
