Job summary

SYSTRA India invites applications for the position of K3- Resident Engineer-Project Coordination for Phase-II Projects of Pune Metro Rail Project (PMRP). The role focuses on programme planning, coordination with Maha Metro, design teams, and contractors to ensure on-time delivery of viaducts, stations and depots.

Candidates should have 15+ years in rail infrastructure, strong skills in project scheduling (Primavera P6/MS Project) and CPM analysis, plus contractor coordination and risk

Qualifications

• 15+ years in rail-related major infrastructure project/railway/metro & execution of viaduct & stations or Track or E&M or System Integration (as case may be) in at least one metro project.
• Proficiency in project planning using Primavera P6/MS Project and Progress Monitoring.
• Critical Path Analysis and Delay Analysis within Metro Rail Construction.
• Contractor Coordination, Stakeholder Management, Risk Management, Reporting & MIS, and Contract Administration.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of Master Schedules and periodic programme updates.
• Review construction sequencing and commissioning elements against key dates.
• Liaise with Employer, Govt authorities and design teams for scheduling approvals.
• Monitor progress against baselines and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate planning for viaducts, stations, depots and related infrastructure.
• Ensure proper documentation, reporting and MIS for project monitoring.

Project: Engagement of General Consultant for Phase-I Extension and Phase-II Projects of Pune Metro Rail Project (PMRP)

The project involves the engagement of a General Consultant (GC) for providing comprehensive consultancy services for the implementation of the Pune Metro Rail Project – Phase-I Extension and Phase-II. The scope broadly covers project management, design and engineering review, construction supervision, contract management, quality assurance, safety, testing and commissioning, and overall monitoring of the works.

We are seeking applications for the position of K3- Resident Engineer-Project Coordination for Phase-II Projects of Pune Metro Rail Project (PMRP)

Missions/Main Duties

• Senior Program Expert assists Dy PD Civil & System in preparation of Proficient Master Schedules using Digital Platform.
• Reviews the construction sequencing and commissioning elements with respect to the key dates required for each element of works, particularly if further approval for construction phases is required from authorities.
• Liaison with Employer, Government authorities regarding programming of the construction & commissioning works.
• Monitors changes in construction phases and sequencing and produces regular program updates for the Employer. Checks that any changes are accounted for new program revisions including the commissioning phase at the completion of the construction phase.
• Coordinate overall project planning, monitoring, and execution activities for metro rail works, including viaducts, stations, depots, and associated infrastructure.
• Prepare and regularly update the Master Programme, detailed work schedules, and construction programmes in coordination with contractors and design teams.
• Monitor physical progress against approved baseline schedules, identify delays, and recommend corrective/recovery measures.
• Coordinate between Employer/Maha Metro, General Consultant, DDC/Design Consultants, contractors, utility agencies, and other stakeholders.
