Job summary

Bosch Global Software Technologies Private Limited in Bengaluru seeks an experienced embedded software tester to perform functional testing, requirements analysis, and test-spec prep for automotive infotainment projects.

The role emphasizes scripting (Python, CAPL), test environments, and debugging across CAN/LIN/Ethernet networks, with a focus on embedded lifecycles and safe handling of hardware targets.

Qualifications

• Software Testing experience in embedded systems (preferably in Automotive infotainment).
• Protocol Knowledge (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, UDS).
• Experience in scripting preferred (CAPL, Python).
• Experience in test environments and debugging.
• Automotive Infotainment, CAN communication etc. is an added advantage.
• Familiar with SW development processes.
• ISTQB - Foundation level (optional).

Responsibilities

• Functional testing, requirements gathering & analysis, preparation of test specifications and reviews.
• Test execution and debugging in simulation test environment.
• Provide all necessary test reports and perform causal analysis and preventive actions on technical issues.
• Awareness of software development processes for embedded system lifecycles; knowledge of Python and other scripting languages.
• Ensure electrostatic discharge compliance while using targets and careful handling of targets/project equipment.
• Hands-on experience in setting up and working with target hardware.
