Job summary

PI Industries Ltd. is seeking a Chemical Engineer with 2-8 years of experience to join the Flow Technology team in Udaipur, Rajasthan. The role focuses on flow chemistry, continuous manufacturing, and process engineering to develop scalable, innovative chemical processes.

You will work on selecting flow reactors and equipment, conducting DoE-driven data generation, and supporting scale-up from lab to pilot and commercial production, with emphasis on safety and process optimization.

Qualifications

• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering.
• 2-8 years of experience in Flow Chemistry, Process Engineering, Continuous Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize chemical processes using Flow Chemistry (Micro/Meso Reactors).
• Select suitable flow reactors, pumps, and downstream processing equipment.
• Generate experimental data for process scale-up using DoE.
• Support scale-up activities from laboratory to pilot plant and commercial manufacturing.
• Identify process improvement and cost optimization opportunities.
• Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement of flow chemistry-based processes.
• Work closely with Process Development, Manufacturing, and Technology Transfer teams.
• Ensure safe, efficient, and timely execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize chemical processes using Flow Chemistry (Micro/Meso Reactors).
• Select suitable flow reactors, pumps, and downstream processing equipment.

• Support scale-up activities from laboratory to pilot plant and commercial manufacturing.

What We're Looking For

• 2-5 years of experience in Flow Chemistry, Process Engineering, Continuous Manufacturing, or related areas.
• Hands-on experience with Flow Reactors, Pumps, and Process Equipment.
• Strong understanding of Chemical Engineering fundamentals and process scale-up.
• Good analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
