Job summary

Asian Paints Limited in Navi Mumbai seeks a Research Executive N- JV II to plan and execute paint batches (water based and solvent based) and perform testing using standard procedures.

You will work independently on chemistries like acrylic, epoxy, alkyd, polyurethane, visit plant for batch standardisation, and support troubleshooting at customer lines while ensuring calibration of lab equipment and maintaining quality records.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in industrial coating or OEM/general industrial coating.
• Experience with multiple coating chemistries (acrylic, epoxy, alkyd, polyurethane).
• Willingness to visit plant sites and customer lines for testing and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute paint batches (water-based and solvent-based) and perform testing.
• Work independently on various chemistries such as acrylic, epoxy, alkyd, polyurethane.
• Visit plant for batch standardisation.
• Visit customer lines and troubleshoot coating application and performance issues.
• Perform calibration of laboratory test equipment and maintain quality records.

Key Skills –

• Responsible for planning and executing paint batches(water based as well solvent based) and perform testing using various standard test procedures.
• Work independently on different chemistries like acrylic, epoxy, alkyd, polyurethane etc.
• Visiting plant for batch standardisation.
• Visiting customer line and troubleshooting the coating application/performance related concerns.
• Perform and ensure calibration of test equipment in the laboratory and maintain quality records.

Experience – 2+ year (preference to Industrial coating / OEM / General Industrial coating experience)
