Job summary

Interocean Group is seeking a market research professional to gather information from multiple channels and conduct quantitative analysis using statistical tools. The role involves organizing information into templates, creating infographics, and publishing research comments and papers.

You will prepare concise materials that support key business discussions and analyze commodities including coal, coke, limestone, fertilizers, and oil & gas.

Responsibilities

• Gather market information and intelligence through multiple channels.
• Conduct fact-based research and analysis using statistical models/tools.
• Lead in organizing information as per templates, including infographics.
• Prepare materials that summarize data and draw conclusions for business discussions.
• Carry out industry analysis of commodities such as coal, coke, limestone, fertilizers, bauxite, steel, iron ore, oil & gas, LNG, and agricultural commodities.
• Solicit a client base for commodity reports and create revenue streams through business development.
• Undertake business development by soliciting more clients through liaisoning to increase circulation of reports.
• Identify import trends of suppliers and receivers, country-wise and by region.
• Identify demand-and-supply challenges relating to the commodities.

• Conduct fact-based research and analysis using statistical models/tools, and derive usable industry insights.
• Take the lead in organizing information as per templates, including infographics. Assist with the publication of research commentaries and papers.
• Prepare materials that summarize data and draw conclusions to support key business discussions.
• Carry out industry analysis of commodities such as coal, coke, limestone, fertilizers, bauxite, steel, iron ore, oil & gas, LNG, and agricultural commodities.
• Solicit a client base for the above commodity reports and create revenue streams through business development of such reports.
• Undertake business development by soliciting more clients through liaisoning, with a view to increasing circulation of the reports.
• Identify import trends of suppliers and receivers, country-wise and by geographical region.
• Identify demand-and-supply challenges relating to the commodities.
