Job summary

Emkay Global is seeking a research analyst to track sectors and companies, pulling data from Bloomberg and other databases to support financial modelling and valuations. The role includes preparing initiation notes and quarterly result updates, and coordinating with the lead analyst on conference roadshows.

The ideal candidate will perform fundamental primary research and interact with select buy-side analysts to advance analytic insights within the team.

Qualifications

• Ability to significantly improve the structure and readability of written communication.

Responsibilities

• Research tracking sectors and companies.
• Cull data using databases such as Bloomberg.
• Assist in financial modelling and valuations.
• Conduct fundamental primary research as required.
• Support lead analyst in building financial models and databases, and preparing initiation notes, quarterly result updates, and event notes.
• Interact with select buy-side analysts and assist in meetings, roadshows, and conferences.
