Job summary

Purechase India is seeking a senior candidate with expertise in water-based formulation, coatings and inks. The role focuses on formulation development, polymer chemistry, and scaling from lab to production.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Polymer Science, and experience in product development and manufacturing implementation to drive lab-to-commercialization efforts.

Qualifications

• Experience with water-based formulations for coatings, inks or dispersions.
• Experience in product development, scale-up and manufacturing implementation.
• Strong background in polymer chemistry and materials science.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize water-based formulations for coatings, inks, and emulsions.
• Translate laboratory formulations to pilot and commercial-scale production.
• Lead scale-up activities and process transfers to manufacturing.
• Collaborate with formulation chemists, process engineers and QA teams.
• Support barrier/functional coatings and raw material optimization initiatives.
