Job summary

ISG seeks a detail-oriented Research Content Production Analyst to manage the construction and production of ISG Research reports, with emphasis on Buyers Guides. You will assemble templated reports, coordinate reviews, manage production schedules and prepare final files for publishing.

The role requires producing high-quality PDFs, maintaining templates, and ensuring consistency with standards. Evening IST shift supports collaboration with US colleagues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in content production, report production, publishing operations or related field is preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience building, formatting and managing complex documents in Microsoft Word with templates and tracked revisions.
• Experience producing and quality-checking final PDF files using Adobe Acrobat.

Job Description – Research Content Production Analyst

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Research Content Production Analyst to manage the construction and production of ISG Research reports, with particular emphasis on Buyers Guides. This role will assemble templated reports, coordinate reviews and revisions, manage production schedules and prepare final files for publishing. The role will maintain established templates, production standards and quality controls while identifying practical opportunities to improve the consistency, efficiency and quality of the report-production workflow.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the assembly and production of ISG Research reports, including Buyers Guides and other report types.
• Build and format templated reports in Microsoft Word, ensuring consistency with established templates, styles and production standards.
• Coordinate the report-production workflow from initial assembly through reviews, revisions, final quality checks and publishing.
• Maintain detailed production schedules and deliver assigned milestones within the overarching timelines established by project managers.
• Track report dependencies and follow up with contributors to secure required inputs, reviews and approvals.
• Identify production risks, missing inputs, delays or quality issues early and elevate them to the appropriate contributors and project managers.
• Perform a light quality-control and editing pass throughout production, identifying formatting, consistency, completeness and basic writing issues.
• Coordinate with contract editors responsible for substantive writing edits and incorporate approved revisions accurately.
• Prepare final report files in Word and Adobe Acrobat, ensuring they meet established publishing requirements.
• Learn, apply and maintain pre-publication quality checks for report formatting, content integrity and publishing readiness.
• Maintain and improve report templates, production standards and workflow documentation over time.
• Use lower-volume periods to prepare for upcoming production cycles, improve templates and processes and advance other assigned production work.
• Support basic HubSpot posting activities when needed.

Skills & Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field. Relevant professional experience and demonstrated ability to manage detailed document-production work are valued.
• Experience: 3 to 5 years of professional experience in content production, report production, publishing operations, document production, project coordination or a related field is preferred.
• Microsoft Word Expertise: Strong hands-on experience building, formatting and managing complex documents in Microsoft Word is required. Experience working with templates, styles, tables, page layouts and tracked revisions is strongly preferred.
• Publishing Tools: Experience producing and quality-checking final PDF files using Adobe Acrobat is required.
• Operating Environment: Experience using Windows-based production workflows is preferred because of the report-publishing environment.
• Production and Scheduling: Ability to manage detailed production schedules, meet deadlines, track dependencies and elevate blockers appropriately within a cross-functional workflow.
• Quality Control: Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify formatting, consistency, completeness and basic writing issues before publication.
• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with research teams, project managers, contract editors and other contributors across the report-production process.
• Process Improvement: Experience maintaining templates, production standards or documented workflows and identifying opportunities for practical improvement is preferred.
• HubSpot: Familiarity with basic HubSpot posting is a strong plus.
• Soft Skills: Highly organized, self-directed and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills, sound judgment and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential.

This role requires an evening shift in India Standard Time, with availability through approximately 12:00 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time to support collaboration with U.S.-based colleagues.
